Charles and Camilla visit Leicester Market
Today saw Prince Charles and Camilla visit Leicester and specifically the Market to rename the new market square as Green Dragon Square. Like the rest of the crowd, I braved the snow, sleet and bitterly cold wind to witness the royal visit. But I wasn't there in a working capacity and went purely as a proud Dad. My lovely eldest daughter Claudia had been selected to be part of a 'meet and greet' party when the Prince and Camilla arrived and she was tasked with handing over a bouquet to Camilla. Such a great experience and one she won't forget in a hurry... Many thanks to Leicester Mercury photographer Alex Hannam for sending me over the last image seen below, which has a great view of Charles shaking Claudia's hand with Camilla looking on.
